History
Advance Metal Substrate Technology Sdn. Bhd. (AMST) commenced its operations in 1997. The company was then known as Acqutek Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. In 2003, the company was renamed to AMST, and subsequently acquired by Hexagon Holdings Berhad in July 2005.
Our holdings company, Hexagon Holdings Berhad is a public listed company on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ('Bursa Malaysia') under ‘Trading/ Services’ since 1996.
Our Core Focus
Our core focus is to provide etched leadframe to regional independent integrated circuit (IC) assembly houses and consumer electronic manufacturers. In AMST, we specialize in photo etching process. Our state of the art, pre-plate/etching single station machinery is capable of producing plated leadframe from raw blank, in record breaking time of 25 minutes. This is the fastest recorded time known among the etching leadframe manufacturers. Our machines combine plating, exposing, etching and cutting process in a single line, providing huge advantage on volume production in our in-house development activities.
In addition, we also work closely with one of the world's largest leadframe manufacturer in Japan, to setup a super precision plating machine. Our skills, knowledge and technical expertise in the field of leadframe manufacturing provides the confidence and support to out customers.
